Family Force 5 has been traveling an exciting new path ever since the departure of frontman Solomon "Soul Glow Activatur" Olds back in September. Today, the band announced their recent signing to Word Entertainment with their first release with the label due out this summer.

About the signing and album, the band writes:

It's a brand new season for Family Force 5! We are thrilled to be joining forces with our friends at Word Entertainment for the next phase of FF5. What does that mean?? First of all, we've got all NEW music coming your way later this summer. Mark your calendar! You'll be able to pre-order the new album on iTunes starting May 27!

We're also pumped to bring you the INSANE music video for our song "BZRK" (featuring a mysterious guest-appearance), plus a new single called "Let It Be Love," that you can expect to hear on the radio later in May as well. If you just can't wait for new music, our friends at SiriusXM will start playing the song TODAY, so make sure to check it out (or to gander at it, as Xanadu would say)!
